Dorsey Griffith
A graduate of Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, Dorsey (she/her) enjoyed a long career as a newspaper reporter covering beats as diverse as religion and education, county government and medicine. She then spent more than a decade in public relations, first as assistant communications director with the California Department of Development Services then with UC Davis Health, where she managed communications for the Comprehensive Cancer Center, MIND Institute and Alzheimer’s Disease Center. Dorsey speaks fluent Spanish.
Her recent work includes writing, editing and advising on several statewide pandemic and disaster preparedness campaigns, including Listos California, VaccinateAll58 and COVID19.CA.gov.
When not writing or editing, she’s riding a bike, swimming or hiking the region. She has two grown children and a squirrelly cat named Frida.
